Baby M turns 1 *Colorado Springs Cake Smash Session*

I have neglected this blog for a while and I am so sorry about that. The weeks just went by fast.

Anyways, I am happy to share with  you one of my more recent sessions. Baby M won her session with me through Colorado Springs Giveaway. She turned one in January and we got to do a cake smash session to celebrate the milestone. 

Here are some of my favorites from her session....

I gotta tell you a little story behind these photos. Baby M was not happy to be away from mama. We tried different tricks to get her to stay in the middle of the backdrop but as soon as her mom gently walked away, she would cry. Finally we decided to just have her sit on mom's lap and I tried to crop the images really tight to keep the focus on her. Just another reason why I love my job. Every session will be different and comes with its own set of challenges. But every single one also yields results that I'm happy to present to my clients.
